I have a livejournal now so everyone must read it. http://www.livejournal.com/users/tmonster

Monday, June 28, 2004

Well, its almost July. I reeeeally don't want summer to be over. Its just starting to hit me how different everything is going to be. I'm moving to Tuscon, other people are moving out of the state, no more high school...well thats a good thing. Still, there's a lot of things I'm really going to miss. Oh well. I don't go anywhere for another 2 months so its all good. In the meantime I think I'm going to switch to a livejournal. Everything's changing, might as well change my journal.

U of A orientation! Arrrg. I'm still here, and thankfully I don't have to take the Spanish placement exam because I did well on my AP last year. Hmm....I don't really remember any Spanish but I can minor in it if I take a few more credits so....hmm. I guess we'll see what happens. So far this orientation day has been loads of boring talks and stuff to help us plan for the rest of our college careers, and lives basically. One retarded thing is that they sign us up for classes based on our grades, personal survey, etc. and give us a schedule of our classes tomorrow. Then, if we don't like it, we get to go through the very exciting process of yelling at them and trying to get into other classes that we'd rather take. So I hope I get good ones and don't have to change much. Ugh, why does orientation have to take 2 days? So borrrrrring. Well, I hope you guys are all having fun!

Well, its Sunday.  Its just starting to sink in that I'm not going back to high school. There's actually a lot of stuff I'm going to miss.  Of course, there's a lot of stuff I'm glad to be done with too. This is going to be a fun summer. I'll actually have some spending cash from my fun and exciting clothes-folding at sears (everyone should come visit me!) and I don't have to study for SAT's or anything like that this summer.  Plus, I have my license, which I only did for part of last summer, which makes it easier to see all you guys.

I've had a good time wasting the day.  I slept in until forever then spent about 4 hours playing Civilization and watched some old Nickelodeon shows like GUTS and Figure it Out at my dad's house. I also dropped off my film from the last day of school, but I can't pick them up until tuesday.  I'm kind of bored. I think i'll go download some music.

Went to Tingting's graduation party today! I had a good time. Michael, Abby, and I went shopping for her present first, which was also very fun.  Among her many fun presents, we got her a squishy tongue from hot topic that looked really real. It was awesome! I had a lot of fun at the party and ate lots of good food, though eating cow tongue was kind of scary. Hmm. I got kind of tired though and had a headache so i didn't go to Mel's for Puni Puni fun.  I called Sam when I got home who's grounded again as usual and isn't allowed to see me or talk on the phone for like a week, but can still probably go to graduation.  What a rewarding relationship.  Oh well. Today was still a good day.
